You Need the Saviour Jesus Christ
Many people are living without realizing that they do need a Saviour. How about you? Maybe this is a strange question to you, but truly you and I do need a Saviour. Why?
First, we are sinners before God.
The Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23). God is holy and all-knowing and He condemns sin even in our hearts, minds, thoughts, and motives. Rejecting the Saviour Jesus Christ, telling lies, embracing sinful thoughts, lusts, hatred, and so forth are sins before God already. The Bible says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8).
Next, all sinners will be judged and condemned to Hell.
The Bible says, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Rev 21:8).
However, there is good news for mankind.
God does love you and wants you to be saved. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). My dear friend, God does love you even when you do not know Him. God loved you and me so much that He sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who came into this world to die for our sins and rose up from the dead to become our living Saviour, who is able to save you and me perfectly.
Then, how to be saved?
The only way to be saved is to realise that you have sinned against God, to confess your sins to the Lord in prayers and to accept the Lord Jesus into your heart and your life as your personal Lord and Saviour. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:30-31).
My dear friend, if you want to know more about our Saviour Jesus Christ and God’s Word, the Bible, you are very welcome to our Christ-centred and Bible-centred Sunday worship at:
